About melk art & design:
melk art & design, is a nature focused, whimsically illustrated line of hand-crafted goods. Illustrations are screen-printed, burned or etched onto up-cycled surfaces, utilizing a variety of recycled, natural and man-made materials.

melk offers an arresting line of cuffs, belt-buckles, wall plaques, prints and clocks. The concept of up-cycling plays heavily into the inspiration for each piece, as most materials are reclaimed, then re-purposed into limited edition, hand-crafted works of art. This body of work is a result of the curious collaboration between designer and illustrator Chrystale Thompson and product designer Jeremy van Nieuwkerk.
