Learn the basics of how to properly expose 16mm motion picture film with a Bolex camera Hand process b/w camera film using a LOMO developing tank. Use a Steenbeck for analog editing and use a JK optical printer for blow-ups, reductions and motion effects in addition to basic shot editing. Learn to digitally prepare a sound track and photograph a 16mm optical track using an Auricon camera and how to use a Bell and Howell C-Printer to create a married print with picture and optical sound.
As all these processes are required to create a 16mm married film print, participants are expected to participate in all workshops and follow through with their own independent project.
