“It” is a projection installation using two layers of plastic wrap as the screen and a moving still life film shot by the artist. The film is an abstract documentation of many insects jumping and spending the last moments of their lives in a drying swimming pool during a hot summer. By filming the cruel reality out of focus, “ It” projects countless amounts of dots blinking randomly like live cells. The projection can be viewed from all angles. Due to the special effects brought by the plastic wrap screen, the original black and white film can be partially viewed as colored as the audience views it.
