Whether self-represented or working with a gallery, artists are increasingly expected to work towards generating buzz and followings for their work. This workshop will introduce various marketing tools and approaches including websites and social media strategies, while highlighting how to increase press coverage for their work.

Taught by Annie Briard
Annie Briard has extensive teaching experience including as an Instructor in the undergraduate program at Emily Carr where she teaches Professional Practice, Issues in Contemporary Art, The Business of Art Practice and Intro to Digital Media. Since 2015 she has been the Public Engagement Progammer at ECUAD and previously was the Director at CARFAC.
Currently she is on the Programming Committee for 23 Days at Sea Residency Access Gallery where she is also a Board Member.
